Clue is My riding horse, he has a heart of Gold and always willing to try, he is a big boy with a big stride and Aims to please. Saskia Williams rode him in the 2017 December show and he holds the Dressage trophy for the yard, lets see what the 2018 Show brings.

Tolkien is the first horse aquired at TLC Stables, he is my old man and is now enjoying his retirement, he lived to Jump and me and Tolky jumped 1.4m with ease. (with my eyes closed i might add) He now enjoys his retired life with his wife Gypsey

1992 THB Mare
Gypsey is known as the Easter bunny of the yard, she was a very hot forward jumpity ride but now   is enjoying her retirement with her Husband Tolkien.

 

 

 

 

Almost Unreal AKA Zorro
2008 Warmblood Cross Fresian Gelding
Zorro is known as the mistake of the yard, As we did not know Firefly was even pregnant, Arthur is his dad. Sue Mesa is riding him and they are excelling in Dressage, In 2017  they are competing in Meduim dressage, hoping for 2018 to be advanced and then the real fun begins. Zorro now lives with Sue and they have a bond that is hard to break.

2002 Crossbreed Mare
This is Hannahs (my daughters) heart horse, this horse is the apple of Hannah’s eye.  Sugar was previously a broodmare and in the last 5 years of coming to me, went from a farm  pony to a Wining Dressage horse and just started jumping with Hannah too. She is also used for Pony Club and is loved by the little kiddies that ride her.  The love and bond between Hannah And Sugar can be seen very clearly in their riding.

 

 

 

 

 

Diamonds From Dust Bonny
2005 CrossBred Mare
Bonny arrived from Animals in Distress and was only backed in 2015. She is Hannah’s Other ride and excelling in Dressage and already taking home 1st places. She is also a valuable Pony Club Pony and is loved by the littles ones that ride her.

This was Hannahs first horse ( bought in 2011), he taught her all she knows today, and together they still do inhand work, as she has outgrown him.

Tally is what a typical pony is, he is sweet and kind and cheeky and naughty and given half the opportunity will escape from any paddock. He enjoys his retirement life here at TLC.

This little Gem is Sugars little foal that arrived with her, he has grown into a big, handsome young man and just started his riding career (2017). he tries his heart out and reminds me so much of his mother, Sugar.   I wish Saskia Moritz many happy hours in the saddle with this handsome young man.

This was my dads race horse, (who just couldn’t race at all) Spanky has a heart of gold and so willing to please. Rebecca is riding her (2018) and Im looking forward to seeing the partnership that will develop.

Another one of my dads ex racehorses, but he could race,  this boy is a real Gem in the riding school and has competed in Dressage very successfully.  He is a easy ride and once a partnership is developed with his rider, he will excell in Dressage again.

Madam, Tanya Van Staden is her current “mommy” and it is a partnership any orange pony can dream of, she is not a easy pony, and certainly not a easy ride, but this partnership shows that alot of hard work anything can be achieved.  Twister in 2018, gave birth to a “mini me” Colt, Rock n Roll and we are blessed to have him around.

Yoki is the stud stallion for the year, he has a heart of gold and was backed in 2017. He attended horse of the year in 2018 and won supreme inhand stallion, thanks to all the help that Sue Mesa has put into him. He is proving to be a real asset to TLC STUD.
